in HIPAA Headlines by John Brewer

If you haven’t heard, Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser has a serious security flaw.

There is a normal monthly update that occurs, but due to the importance of this update, Microsoft is pushing out an update to IE today.

If you have automatic updates turned on, the update will occur…automatically.

Otherwise, be sure to run Windows Updates sometime today.

Also, for those of you living on the edge and still using Windows XP (which you shouldn’t be doing), Microsoft has thrown you a bone and included that version of IE in the security fix…still, you need to replace Windows XP.
